Note: Often abundant, especially in grazed meadows. Pollination by various insects, for example by honey-bees. In Spain there are various subspecies like Ranunculus bulbosus subsp. aleae (Pyrenees) and Ranunculus bulbosus subsp. castellanus (Picos de Europa).
