Notes: Flowers on multi-branched stems. The tall plant forms vast thickets. In the Pyrenees and Picos de Europe a subspecies can be found: Adenostyles alliariae subsp. hybrida (Adenostyles alliariae subsp. pyrenaica or Adenostyles alpina subsp. pyrenaica) that is endemic for these two mountain ranges.
